Those who read my last journal know I've been thinking of redoing some old picturse and/or possibly deleting the old ones from DA.

Been busy with this one for a couple of days now.
And it's MUCH better than the old one. I even added some things to the picture. (Fire dragon! 8D)

Might redo another one after this.

Yes, the title was inspired by the title of a song from the band Rhapsody of Fire. (Check out their music, it's awesome. 8D)

Even though I added the following info to the old pic here it is again:
This is supposed to be a shiny Charizard. It had these colours in the gen 2 games where shinies were introduced. It also has similar colours on the Shining Charizard card.
This was before they changed it's colours to black and red in the gen 3 games.
I happen to like the purple one better. I also picked to work with the purple one because purple and yellow are a nice colour combination.

Tools used:
I used Photoshop CS3 and Sai to make this.
And I work with a Wacom Cintiq tablet.

You captured the dragon flame extremely well! I love how you used the shiny colors to contrast with the fire.

I think this is one of the only pics besides the sprite that I've seen of this kind of charizard. I personally love it too!! Nice job~
