...Since some people would like to see my schoolwork I decided to upload something.

This is part of the endproduct of the 1st project of school.
We had to make a little book, a guide ( not 100% sure how I should translate 'beroep' ) and this is the cover that I designed and that was used when we had to put everything together.

For the cover we were only allowed to use typography, so letters only, no drawings or something.
I already knew what I wanted to do, I wanted to make a picture made only with letters. I asked if we could and we were allowed to do that. :)

I just loved the idea.
We also had to had the words 'beroepen gids' in it.

The dragon on the right was the front as you can see, it has the title Beroep Gids. And the other creature was just a quicky so that the back wouldn't be empty.
This was the 1st time I did something like this and I'm quite happy with how it turned out. :)

Hope you all like my schoolwork. ^^;

Oh My FFing God! That looks so awesome!!!

I remember you talking about this assignment a long while back.

It's amazing how letters can make up a picture like that, Wonderful job ^^

I think Beroep would be best translated as Career. So it'd be a Career Guide.

I knew the translation would be that simple... but sometimes I just can't find the word. XD; And freetranslation gave a whole different word and I wasn't sure if it was the right one, but I think career is the best translation for this. :)

I agree, that Maine Coon picture rocks! This is very similar to something that I did for a Typography assignment some months back, except we had to do it with a portrait of someone whom we hold dear. Excellent job with this, by the way. I really like all of the different sizes of the letters that you used; I get a feeling of texture, especially with the Gids dragon.

I used different sizes to get a bit of texture in it, like the 'v' and 'w' for scales.
Then come to think of it, in the beginning I had no idea's. And then suddenly you can just get a great idea or get inspired by the work of others. That's a good thing. :)
