~ VACATION ~

Well, my vacation has almost ended. Unfortunatly most of it has been a waste and this whole month the weather has been kind of bad here.
I'm glad I still got to hang out with my friends so now and then. even came all the way to my place for a sleepover. It was fun, but it felt kind of short. And we had to say goodbye so quickly. D: (I hope you had a good trip back!) I should definatly still visit you at your place sometime! D:

~ ART ~

I haven't really been active with art either. Just not in the mood I guess. I'm also going to have to draw alot when the vacation is over. So maybe a break wasn't such a bad idea.

I would have loved to do commissions since I barely have money to spend. Thankfully I have been able to sell and exchange some of my old games at the summer market last Tuesday. But I certainly could use more cash.
If anyone is interested in commissioning me, just note me with details. I'm not sure what I'm going to charge, but you can always tell me what your budget is and what you want from me. Then I'll see if I can help you.

~ NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE ~

Also, Nuzlocke.
What is this awesomeness they call Nuzlocke?
I'm sure alot of you have already heard about it by now. I got introduced to it a couple of weeks ago and I've been very eager to try it out myself.

Basicly you get one of your Pokemon games and start a new game with special rules to make the game harder, but far more interesting to play.
The basic rules are:
1. If a Pokemon faints it's dead, you have to release it.
2. You can only capture the 1st Pokemon (that isn't a duplicate) you encounter in each area. If it faints, self-destructs, flees, etc. Tough luck, you get nothing from that area.
3. You have to nickname all your Pokemon. (the purpose is that you get attached to them. It will hurt you more when that Pokemon dies)
4. Set the battle style to 'SET'.
5. Obviously, if something goes wrong you are not allowed to re-set the game.
6. You're not allowed to trade/import Pokemon from other games, wi-fi, etc. (I think in-game trades are ok, but who the hell would trade their precious Pokemon away anyways)

Another extra rule some people like to add is no legendaries. As far as I know they are allowed as long as you don't encounter any other pokemon in the same area before you get there, which is nearly impossible unless you carry lots of repels.

And I think most people would want to exclude shinies from the 'only catch 1st pokemon' rule.
Because, yeah... they are rare and we all love to capture them!
When a shiny dies... I also don't think many would want to release it. So I guess it would be ok to Box it away or trade it away to another game? Of course if you trade it away you have to release the Pokemon you got in the trade and when you box the shiny after it dies you're not allowed to use it anymore.
Bluh, this is not very likely to happen, cuz shinies are extremely rare.

There are more rules you can add if you want to make it even more difficult, like no heal items, only buy 1 pokeball per mart, no pokemon centre heals, or only once per town, etc.
But I'm not going to do that.

~ NUZLOCKE COMIC ~

The whole idea is you play the game with at least the basic set of rules and then make some kind of log about it. Alot of people have been making comics and that's what I'm gonna do as well.

I've already started the Nuzlocke challenge in Pokemon Pearl. I'm playing by the basic rules. I exclude shinies, but I won't use legendaries.
So far I've been keeping a log in a sketchbook where I take notes and draw every new Pokemon I catch, Pokemon that evolve or when I have an idea for a story I make a small comic.
I don't know when I start on the actual comic, but I hope to have the first pages up soon.
